The 5W’s, or Five W’s, are formulaic questions considered essential for information-gathering, often in fields of journalism, research, and forensic investigations. A ‘report’ can only be considered complete if the following questions can be answered:
Who is it about? What happened? Where did it happen?
When did it happen? Why did it happen?
This work attempts to address these questions as applied to a personal narrative. How can we mediate dynamic narratives in an information-saturated world that strives to find clear-cut answers?
